No rest for the wicked

Night Shall Overtake may be finished, but its far from being done.  Making sure its ready to submit and print takes almost as much effort as writing it in the first place.  It takes work, even in the submission process.  Its not unlike sending your child off to their first day of school.

But even as one story finishes, another one begins.  New projects are always on the horizon and current ones are always in the works.  That is the beauty of writing; the new worlds to explore and the stories that always need just one more chapter before the closing words come around.

About Michael R Collins

Michael R Collins is an author of stories that need be told. Often dark and sometimes seedy, they can also be poignant. They are fast-paced and atmospheric stories with characters both fantastic yet relatable. Born and raised in Southern Idaho, he currently lives in the creative bosom of Austin, Texas. If he's not working for the man, he's either writing or annoying the neighbor by playing his bass guitar far too loud.
